About Me

I am a CEO/COO, EOS integrator, and corporate board member. My strength is stabilizing critical business transitions while building momentum for the future. Specializing in family-owned, privately held, and employee-owned businesses, I activate strategy, develop high-potential talent, and build organizational resilience to survive and prosper.

I serve as a fractional leader, embedded in small to medium-sized businesses (revenue: $10MM - $75MM), working to address critical and strategic issues. Assignments have included interim CEO positions, market research, capital fundraising, EOS integration, operational management, program audits, program development, and strategic planning facilitation.

I spent more than 20 years at The Stelter Company, a family-owned direct response marketing firm with expertise in nonprofit fundraising. As CEO, I grew the firm from $13.6M to $27M in five years and led the handoff from generation two to three. Before that, I oversaw direct mail and digital services, generating more than $1B in trust and estate donations annually for leading nonprofits, including 30 of the Top 100. I launched five multi-million-dollar divisions and developed ground-breaking industry research that upended how nonprofits approach planned giving.

As a certified corporate director, I have overseen three successful acquisitions, two divestitures, two startups, and three leadership transitions while serving in executive roles on three corporate boards (employee-owned, privately owned, and family-held).

I started my career in corporate PR at magazine publisher Meredith Corporation before moving to Country Home magazine as a writer, managing editor, and interim leader during an extended Editor-in-Chief vacancy.
